Harvey is seeking skilled lawyers with experience from top-tier law firms to join as Legal Engineers. In this role, you will leverage your legal expertise to educate current and prospective customers on how Harvey's AI solutions can enhance their day-to-day workflows. You will build consultative relationships with legal professionals, acting as a trusted advisor on AI's application in legal practice. Similar to Solutions Architects in technical sales, Legal Engineers secure the 'legal win' by conducting in-depth customer discovery, education, and tailored demonstrations that resonate with specific legal practice areas. You will utilize your legal background and mindset to ask insightful questions, build credibility, and partner with Account Executives to showcase Harvey's value.
Responsibilities
- Engage with lawyers to understand workflow challenges and demonstrate how Harvey's AI solutions address them.
- Establish credibility as an expert in solving legal problems, including research, drafting, analysis, and due diligence.
- Lead product demonstrations tailored to different legal teams, validating value and showcasing relevant features.
- Partner with marketing to develop content for lawyers, addressing unique practice area needs.
- Act as the 'Voice of the Customer' to inform sales strategies and synthesize feedback for the product team.
- Tailor the introduction of new solutions to specific customer needs.
- Enhance Harvey's market perception as a credible and helpful AI solutions provider for lawyers.
- Conduct research and analysis on customers and competitors.
- Travel to customer and company offices as required.
Requirements
- Qualified to practice law in England & Wales.
- At least 3 years of experience practicing law at a top-tier law firm in the U.K.
- Fluent or Native Arabic speaker.
- Executive engagement skills and presence, with the ability to build strong relationships and credibility.
- Outstanding presentation skills for legal and executive audiences.
- Strong understanding of legal processes and challenges faced by legal professionals.
- Curiosity about AI's potential to transform the legal industry.
- Sales or customer-facing experience is a plus.
- Experience managing law firm client matters and relationships is a plus.
