Harvey is seeking a Lead Product Owner, Finance Systems to manage the critical systems and workflows that support the company's global finance operations. This role is central to the finance technology stack, encompassing NetSuite, Zip, Ramp, Brex, and Metronome. You will be responsible for shaping the product roadmap, prioritizing demands, and overseeing the entire lifecycle of changes within an agile, high-growth environment. This position requires a blend of advisory and hands-on technical skills, involving translating business needs into scalable solutions, providing thought leadership, and executing directly within the toolset.
Responsibilities
- Act as product owner for core finance business processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report) and their associated systems.
- Lead complex problem-solving for areas like international expansion, entity/currency/tax complexities, and new product offerings.
- Develop and maintain an architecture strategy for the finance applications ecosystem, including system boundaries and data flow.
- Identify and eliminate manual work by implementing core configuration, automated workflows, and integrations.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize NetSuite and other finance system workflows (Zip, Ramp, Brex, Metronome).
- Understand and advise on data flows and upstream data sources for revenue reporting.
- Identify, test, and implement practical AI and automation opportunities to save time and reduce manual output.
- Own application quality, ensuring a lightweight SDLC to balance accuracy and agility.
- Partner with leadership to set best practices and mentor peers on complex design questions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a finance systems professional.
- 5+ years of direct NetSuite experience with complex configuration for global, multi-entity, multi-currency organizations.
- Product owner or product manager experience in at least one core finance business process area (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report).
- Extensive depth in at least one core finance business process area, including discovery, target-state design, and roadmap ownership.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technology organizations.
- Proven ability to mentor peers, set technical standards, or act as an escalation point for complex problems.
- Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous, high-stakes process problems autonomously.
- Experience with international expansion, multi-entity, or multi-currency complexities.
- Experience with new product offerings requiring complex pricing, billing, or revenue recognition design.
