Responsibilities
- Lead the international multi-office Commercial legal function in the UK and EU, building a strong foundation for the legal presence in the region.
- Mentor and lead a high-functioning team in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating Commercial AI SaaS contracts.
- Hire additional legal professionals in the region as the company expands.
Requirements
- UK or Dublin-based solicitor with 12+ years of experience.
- Experience in commercial or technology law at a leading private practice law firm.
- In-house experience with a technology company supporting SaaS or technology Go-To-Market or Business Development teams.
- Proven experience building and managing high-functioning teams.
- Transactional background, including technology and/or IP licensing commercial agreements.
- Ability to think creatively, function independently, and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-focused and collaborative work style with a willingness to build expertise and solve new challenges.
- Hyper-responsive and service-oriented attitude.
- Experience with government sales is a plus.
- Experience working internationally with US-based leadership is a plus.
- Experience with AI is a bonus qualification.
