About the job

Harvey is seeking an Advisory CISO to act as a senior security leader, bridging the gap between our customers, go-to-market teams, and engineering. Reporting to the CISO, you will represent Harvey's security strategy to external technology leaders and partner with Sales and Customer Success to articulate our approach to security, AI risk, architecture, and deployment. Your role will involve translating customer needs and emerging risks into actionable priorities for our Security, Product, and Engineering teams, influencing our roadmap to address critical customer security concerns. This position requires a leader who can engage in both executive-level discussions and technical conversations with engineers, focusing on securing enterprise AI, including architecture, data protection, and emerging threats.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted security advisor to CISOs, CIOs, and technology leaders at customer and prospect organizations.
  • Partner with GTM leadership on strategic opportunities where security, architecture, AI risk, or customer trust are critical.
  • Collaborate with Security, Product, Legal, and Engineering teams to translate customer requirements and risks into product and security priorities.
  • Develop and communicate Harvey's perspective on securing enterprise AI, covering architecture, deployment, data protection, identity, AI security, and threats.
  • Represent Harvey externally through executive briefings, customer forums, industry events, and thought leadership.
  • Anticipate how regional and industry-specific regulatory, security, and data requirements will impact enterprise AI adoption.

Requirements

  • Experience as a CISO, Deputy CISO, senior security executive, Field CISO, or similar senior technical security leader in a sophisticated technology environment.
  • Sufficient technical depth to engage credibly with security architects and engineers.
  • Ability to advise executives and navigate complex enterprise buying decisions.
  • Experience building or operating real security programs and securing modern software and cloud platforms.
  • Experience with AI security, enterprise SaaS, regulated industries, or complex enterprise technology environments is highly valuable.
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility with customers, identify market insights from their concerns, and drive action across GTM, Security, Product, and Engineering.
