About the job
Harvey is seeking a Workplace Project Manager to translate workplace playbooks and standards into tangible projects and programs. This role involves managing office moves, openings, and global initiatives such as health & safety, design standards, emergency response, sustainability, and new tooling rollouts. You will be responsible for the scope, schedule, and budget of each project from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. This is a hands-on delivery role within a fast-paced, ambitious environment focused on transforming legal and professional services through agentic AI.
Responsibilities
- Project manage global special projects including health & safety, design standards, emergency response, and sustainability initiatives across Harvey's office portfolio.
- Partner with Security, HR, Legal, and regional Workplace leads to build and roll out emergency response plans and Workplace Violence Prevention Plans (WVPPs).
- Maintain and evolve global design standards for furniture, finishes, and signage to ensure consistent branding across offices.
- Drive sustainability initiatives, including vendor and materials selection, and energy/waste programs, tracking progress against goals.
- Oversee the global rollout of Workplace tooling and software, including evaluation, piloting, implementation, and stakeholder training.
- Manage global and national vendor contracts for services like F&B, janitorial, and plants, including procurement and negotiation.
- Build and maintain the FDOB checklist and playbook for regional workplace leads executing satellite moves, expansions, and new-office openings.
- Own the portfolio-level calendar for expansions and new offices to appropriately sequence and resource projects.
- Lead moves, openings, or buildouts directly where regional coverage is not yet established or bandwidth is limited.
- Coordinate with IT, Security, and AV to maintain day-one readiness standards in the playbook.
- Build and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets for global programs and the FDOB playbook, tracking milestones, dependencies, and risks.
- Communicate program status clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
- Manage vendor relationships tied to global contracts and programs, ensuring accountability for schedule and quality.
- Report to the Global Workplace Operations Manager to ensure programs and playbooks meet Harvey's workplace standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years in workplace operations, program management, or project management.
- Experience leading cross-functional programs such as health & safety, emergency preparedness, sustainability, or systems/tooling rollouts.
- Strong program design and playbook-building instincts.
- Experience managing vendor and procurement relationships at a national or global scale.
- Strong command of project management fundamentals: scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience partnering with construction, real estate, or facilities teams on office moves or buildouts.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a hands-on, get-it-done approach.
- Based in New York and able to work on-site at our NYC office.
- Willingness to travel to other sites as projects require.
