About the job

Harvey is transforming how legal and professional services operate by combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise. This is a unique opportunity to help build a generational company at an inflection point, with strong product-market fit and significant customer adoption. The team operates with intensity, ownership, and a commitment to continuous improvement, driven by values of Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished. As a Strategy Associate on Harvey's Transformation Office, you will be the analytical and content engine driving AI adoption for sophisticated legal and professional services organizations. You will translate raw inputs like usage data and client context into actionable playbooks, frameworks, and executive-ready materials, making transformation repeatable, scalable, and measurable. This high-ownership role offers significant range and visibility, working across the full spectrum of transformation initiatives and partnering closely with various internal teams and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze adoption and usage data to understand transformation drivers and build models, dashboards, and impact analyses.
  • Codify successful engagement practices into reusable playbooks, templates, and methodologies.
  • Synthesize lessons learned from engagements into repeatable materials, stakeholder maps, and workflow analyses.
  • Develop crisp narratives, decks, and one-pagers for senior stakeholders based on complex analysis.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Legal Engineering, GTM, and Customer Success to ensure progress and mitigate risks.
  • Capture patterns across engagements to inform internal knowledge and external thought leadership on AI transformation.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time for client engagements.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm (MBB or equivalent) with a track record of analytically rigorous work.
  • Exceptional quantitative and data analysis skills, with proficiency in Excel/Sheets.
  • Experience building playbooks, frameworks, or repeatable methodologies.
  • Exposure to transformation, change management, or strategy work, preferably in legal, financial, or professional services.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous environments with a bias for action.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and its impact on professional work.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to define AI transformation delivery for sophisticated legal organizations.
  • Unusual ownership and visibility for an early-career role.
  • Work at the intersection of strategy, data, and product deployment.
  • Pace and upside of a high-growth company.
  • Clear growth path toward owning transformation engagements.
