About the job

Harvey is transforming legal and professional services by combining agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and domain expertise. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you will own and drive the product vision, strategy, and execution for our document and knowledge management platform, Vault. Vault is a critical foundation enabling legal professionals to securely store, organize, search, and leverage their documents and institutional knowledge within Harvey's AI-powered ecosystem. You will lead cross-functional teams to build and scale Vault's capabilities, including file management, AI-enabled search and Q&A, document extraction, secure sharing, and seamless integrations with enterprise document management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the Vault product vision and roadmap, balancing near-term customer needs with long-term platform investments.
  • Drive end-to-end product development from ideation through launch and iteration, leading cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with engineering leadership on technical and architectural decisions for scalable, secure, and performant systems.
  • Understand and champion customer needs by collaborating with Customer Success, Sales, and Legal Product Specialists.
  • Own the enterprise integrations strategy for Vault with document management systems and other enterprise tools.
  • Define and track success metrics (KPIs) for Vault adoption, engagement, and value realization.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Partnerships, and Admin/Governance teams for successful product launches.
  • Contribute to Harvey's product culture by mentoring other product managers and establishing best practices.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years at a Staff or Senior PM level at a high-growth technology company.
  • Proven track record of owning and scaling complex platform or infrastructure products, ideally in enterprise SaaS, document management, knowledge management, or data-intensive domains.
  • Strong technical acumen to engage deeply with engineering on system design, distributed systems, data pipelines, and retrieval architectures.
  • Experience building products that handle sensitive data with robust security, compliance, and access control requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and drive clarity through complexity.
  • Strong product sense and attention to detail, considering both high-level strategy and implementation details.
  • Experience with AI/ML-powered products, semantic search, retrieval systems, or document processing pipelines (preferred).
  • Background in legal technology, professional services, or deep understanding of law firm workflows (preferred).
  • Experience with enterprise integrations (APIs, authentication frameworks, third-party DMS platforms) (preferred).
  • Prior experience at a company during a high-growth stage (Series B through IPO) (preferred).
