Responsibilities
- Lead engineering projects that define the user experience for products like Assistant, Vault, Workflows, and integrations with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Lead frontend engineering for new product development at Harvey.
- Build new interfaces for lawyers and organizations to collaborate with AI.
- Lead end-to-end UI feature development from scoping and design reviews to implementation, launch, and iteration.
- Build polished, high-performance React + TypeScript interfaces using TailwindCSS, with crisp interactions, resilient state management, and strong error handling.
- Architect reusable components and patterns, and evolve the internal design system.
- Optimize frontend performance at scale.
- Collaborate with design and backend/infrastructure teams to shape APIs and UX for complex workflows.
- Enhance frontend reliability and security UX for enterprise and regulated environments.
- Mentor peers through code reviews and documentation, and help refine frontend standards and developer experience.
Requirements
- Experience with React, Typescript, and CSS (specifically Tailwind CSS).
- Proven track record of building fast-growing SaaS products using PWA technologies.
- Proven track record of shipping highly intuitive products with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working at startups and scaleups (early-to-late-stage) is a plus.
