About the job
Harvey is seeking a founding Mid-Market Sales Manager for its new Singapore office, tasked with building and scaling the commercial sales presence across the APAC region. This role involves full-cycle management of Account Executives focused on mid-market law firms and corporate legal departments, driving geographic expansion through establishing repeatable sales motions, building pipeline, and closing deals. The position offers a unique opportunity to shape a new market for a fast-growing AI company, with significant autonomy and executive visibility, while partnering cross-functionally to ensure a world-class buyer experience.
Responsibilities
- Build and develop Harvey's Mid-Market sales team in Singapore, including recruitment, hiring, and onboarding.
- Develop and refine a regional sales motion and playbook for APAC mid-market buyers, covering territory planning, pipeline generation, and deal execution.
- Manage and coach Account Executives on deal strategy, qualification, negotiation, and closing, acting as a player-coach initially.
- Own forecasting, pipeline management, and quarterly planning for the APAC Mid-Market segment.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Legal Engineering, Solutions Architecture, and Marketing to establish the go-to-market foundation in the region.
- Represent the voice of the APAC mid-market customer internally to inform product roadmap and regional strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with at least 2 years in a front-line sales management role, preferably in legal tech, enterprise software, or a high-growth startup.
- Proven track record of building or significantly scaling a sales team in a new market or segment.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and make decisions with incomplete information.
- Strong coaching and performance management skills to develop and hold accountable individual contributors.
- Deep familiarity with the APAC legal or professional services market, including buyer personas, procurement dynamics, and regional nuances.
- Analytical mindset with strong business acumen for strategic territory design, segmentation, and go-to-market priorities.
