Harvey is seeking a Practice Lead to join its Transformation Office, partnering with leading law firms to guide them in leveraging AI to fundamentally change their operations and client service. This role involves deeply understanding each firm's unique environment, applying Harvey's AI capabilities, and aligning stakeholders on strategies, adoption phases, and measurable outcomes. The goal is to help firms become categorically different and achieve significant business impact through AI integration.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted transformation advisor to law firm clients, embedding to understand operations and AI's impact.
  • Leverage Harvey's capabilities (sales, legal engineering, customer success, product) to address firm challenges.
  • Design and lead end-to-end AI transformation programs, including use case prioritization, executive alignment, rollout planning, governance, and success measurement.
  • Translate complex AI capabilities into clear, actionable strategies tailored to firm size, structure, and ambitions.
  • Build and own the operational infrastructure for the practice, including playbooks, workshop formats, and value realization frameworks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to identify adoption barriers, build strategies, and provide product/go-to-market feedback.
  • Define and track transformation success metrics such as adoption, utilization, ROI, and customer health.
  • Represent Harvey in the legal tech space through advising, thought leadership, and community engagement.

Requirements

  • JD or equivalent legal qualification.
  • 12+ years of experience practicing law at a top-tier firm.
  • Subsequent experience at a top-tier management consulting firm focused on enterprise transformation, organizational change, or professional services strategy.
  • Deep understanding of the business of law, firm operations, decision-making processes, and the impact of technology/AI.
  • Executive presence and client credibility, comfortable advising partners and working hands-on.
  • Proven ability to build new functions, design playbooks, and generate organizational momentum.
  • Strong point of view on AI's future in law, with empathy and communication skills to guide clients.
  • Comfort with data-informed decision-making, outcome definition, and strategy adjustment based on impact.
  • High-agency operating style suited for a fast-moving, ambiguous, early-stage environment.
  • Bias toward simple, scalable approaches.
