Harvey is seeking a Practice Lead to join its Transformation Office. This role will partner with leading enterprise in-house legal teams to guide them in understanding their future with AI and developing strategies for adoption. The Practice Lead will deeply understand client organizations, leverage Harvey's full capabilities, and align teams on metrics, milestones, and outcomes tied to business goals. This position is crucial for helping legal departments become more efficient and fundamentally reshape their operations through AI.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted transformation advisor to strategic in-house clients, embedding to understand operations and AI potential.
  • Leverage Harvey's capabilities (sales, legal engineering, customer success, product) to address client challenges.
  • Design and lead end-to-end AI transformation programs, including prioritization, alignment, rollout, governance, and success measurement.
  • Translate complex AI capabilities into clear, actionable strategies for legal departments.
  • Build and own the operational infrastructure for the practice, including playbooks, workshop formats, and value frameworks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify adoption barriers, build strategies, and provide product/go-to-market feedback.
  • Define and track transformation success metrics such as adoption, utilization, ROI, and customer health.
  • Represent Harvey within the in-house legal and legal ops community through advising and thought leadership.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise transformation, organizational change, or professional services strategy at a top-tier management consulting firm.
  • Deep understanding of in-house legal team operations, including business interface, priority setting, technology decisions, and GC/legal ops pressures.
  • Strong perspective on AI's impact on the legal industry, with empathy and communication skills to guide clients.
  • Executive presence and client credibility, comfortable advising GCs/CLOs and hands-on work.
  • Proven ability to build functions and generate momentum from scratch.
  • Comfort with data-informed decision-making, including defining outcomes and adjusting strategy based on impact.
  • High-agency operating style suited for a fast-moving, ambiguous, early-stage environment.
  • Bias towards simple, scalable approaches.
