Harvey is seeking a Manager, Legal Engineering - Product Specialist to lead and scale a team responsible for driving customer adoption, expansion, and success with Harvey's AI platform. This role is central to the post-sales motion, ensuring customers derive significant value and increase their usage over time. You will manage a team of former practicing lawyers who act as trusted advisors, guiding customers in integrating Harvey into their workflows. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership position, involving direct customer engagement, team coaching, and building the necessary systems and playbooks for a world-class post-sales function. The role will also serve as a key representative for Harvey in the APAC region, building relationships with top legal professionals and feeding market insights back to the Product and Go-To-Market teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Legal Engineer – Product Specialists, setting high standards for customer engagement, legal credibility, and product expertise.
  • Coach team members through complex customer situations and provide actionable feedback for performance excellence.
  • Drive customer adoption, utilization, renewals, and expansion, partnering with Customer Success Managers and Account Executives.
  • Oversee customer engagement strategy, including implementation, onboarding, and ongoing enablement through workshops and trainings.
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for strategic and complex customer accounts, building relationships with senior legal stakeholders.
  • Manage team capacity, account allocation, and coverage for efficient customer support.
  • Establish clear performance metrics tied to adoption, engagement, and customer health, driving accountability through data.
  • Design and refine playbooks, onboarding frameworks, and training programs for scalable team operations.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Applied Legal Research to align on customer needs and deliver solutions.
  • Aggregate and synthesize customer feedback to influence product strategy and roadmap.
  • Partner with Marketing and Enablement to develop customer-facing content and thought leadership.

Requirements

  • Australian practising certificate or equivalent common-law qualification.
  • 7+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) at a top-tier firm or in-house legal environment.
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring a team with a proven track record of developing talent and driving performance.
