Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a Dublin-based team of Enterprise Application Engineers and AI Enablement Engineers, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Contribute hands-on to system design, code reviews, integration development, and resolving production issues.
  • Oversee the custom applications, services, and automations built on top of and between core platforms like Salesforce, Workday, and NetSuite, ensuring reliability and security.
  • Lead the team in integrating AI agents, MCP servers, and internal AI tooling into business operations, focusing on connective plumbing, evaluation, and guardrails.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders across various departments to translate ambiguous problems into scoped engineering work.
  • Define and implement engineering standards for writing, testing, deploying, documenting, and monitoring code.
  • Serve as the senior Business Technology representative in Dublin, ensuring alignment with US stakeholders.
  • Make strategic build-vs-buy decisions for business needs, considering cost, security, and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of engineering management experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise application, integration, or internal platform engineering.
  • Proficiency in a modern programming language such as Python, TypeScript, or Go.
  • Experience designing and operating API-based integrations between business systems.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise SaaS platforms including CRM, HRIS, ERP, IdP, marketing automation, and support/CX platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, Okta, Marketo, Zendesk).
  • Demonstrated experience applying LLMs or AI agents to production problems, including understanding of evaluation and guardrails.
  • Proven track record of hiring and developing engineers and improving team technical standards.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly with non-technical teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, global environment.
