As the Head of Legal Engineering, Product Specialists - EMEA, you will lead the Legal Engineering (Product Specialist) teams across EMEA, reporting to the VP, Legal Engineering. This second-line leadership role focuses on organizational leadership, operational excellence, and cross-functional execution, overseeing teams that support post-sales customer engagements with law firms and in-house legal departments. Success requires exceptional people leadership, strong business judgment, and the ability to build scalable systems and processes, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to deliver outstanding customer outcomes and shape the future of Legal Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and scale a team of Legal Engineer Managers - Product Specialists and their organizations serving law firm and in-house customers.
- Build systems, processes, and operating mechanisms for Legal Engineering to deliver exceptional customer outcomes at scale.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to align priorities and drive business execution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to legal leaders and an influential partner to senior stakeholders within Harvey.
- Drive organizational performance through effective planning, resource management, talent development, and operational excellence.
- Contribute to defining the future of Legal Engineering and how Harvey partners with leading law firms and corporate legal departments.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 9+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Experience practicing law at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house at a leading company, with significant client-facing experience.
- Experience leading managers and manager-led organizations.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling high-performing teams in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Experience owning organizational systems, processes, and operating models.
- Proven ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships and drive results across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong track record of managing upward and influencing senior leaders.
- Experience representing an organization externally and building trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
- Deep familiarity with legal technology and AI tools, and a strong understanding of how legal teams operate.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
