The Head of EA Operations will lead Harvey’s team of Executive Assistants, bringing the group together as one team, owning hiring, standards, and coverage globally to ensure consistent, reliable support for every executive and invested development for every EA.
Responsibilities
- Lead Executive Assistants as one coordinated team, setting standards for executive support.
- Own end-to-end hiring for the EA team and manage the match between assistants and executives.
- Set shared expectations, service levels, and ways of working for the EA role.
- Drive leveling and compensation fairness across the EA team.
- Manage global support coverage and ratios, planning capacity for growth.
- Provide interim, hands-on coverage when needed to ensure continuous executive support.
- Partner with Onboarding, IT, and People Business Partner teams to ensure smooth starts for new executives.
Requirements
- Experience managing a team of Executive Assistants or executive-support professionals, including hiring, development, and standard-setting.
- Track record supporting C-level and senior leaders with strong judgment and presence.
- Experience in a high-growth, fast-scaling company.
- Strong operational instincts for building systems and playbooks, with excellent judgment around confidential information.
- Experience managing across multiple offices and time zones, ideally globally.
- Strong cross-functional leadership ability and executive communication skills.
- Bias toward ownership, speed, and accountability.
