About the job

Harvey is transforming legal and professional services by combining agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and domain expertise. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-scaling, category-defining company at an inflection point. The Growth Engineer role is a high-leverage position at the intersection of growth strategy and AI execution, responsible for turning marketing ideas into compounding systems. You will partner directly with marketing leadership to identify and implement AI opportunities, owning everything from backend automation to live experiments on harvey.ai.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, scope, and implement AI and automation use cases to improve demand generation, campaign operations, and pipeline conversion.
  • Build and maintain AI workflows for automated content creation, intelligent audience targeting, and personalization.
  • Design and deploy automation workflows using tools like Claude, Clay, or n8n to eliminate manual work across the demand gen stack, integrating with platforms like Marketo and Salesforce.
  • Build and manage experimentation infrastructure, including A/B tests and conversion-flow changes on harvey.ai and campaign surfaces.
  • Manage the cost and efficiency of automated workflows.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations, Content, and Performance Marketing teams to translate marketing needs into technical solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and prototype applications to provide a competitive edge to the marketing team.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in growth engineering, marketing engineering, GTM engineering, or a technical marketing/growth role at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Hands-on experience building with AI tools like Claude Code or Cursor.
  • Experience working with LLM APIs or AI-powered tools for content generation, workflow automation, or marketing performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot), CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), workflow/automation tools (e.g., Clay, n8n, Zapier), and analytics/experimentation tooling (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA4).
  • A builder mentality, comfortable with ambiguity, iterative shipping, and owning 0→1 projects.
  • Strong analytical skills for experiment design, attribution, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with data science, marketing operations, performance marketing, product marketing, and sales teams.
