About the job
Harvey is transforming professional services with frontier AI and an enterprise-grade platform. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company at an inflection point and help build a generational business. The Employee Experience team is newly established, and this role will be instrumental in centralizing and scaling employee experience programs globally. You will have significant creative latitude to define what a great Harvey experience looks like, combining hands-on event logistics, engagement programs, and vendor coordination while tailoring initiatives to diverse global offices.
Responsibilities
- Manage global signature events from conception to execution, including company anniversaries and holiday parties.
- Serve as the liaison between central creative vision and global offices, collaborating with local vendors and planners.
- Execute on-the-ground logistics for events in New York, including vendor management and problem-solving.
- Oversee recognition programs and milestones, including birthdays, work anniversaries, and the Harvey Honors system.
- Manage the swag program, from new-hire kits to an on-brand self-serve store.
- Coordinate the 'Harvey Hangouts' program, including facilitator management, budget tracking, and event execution.
- Develop and manage the company-wide events calendar and theming, providing guidelines for local teams.
- Handle the operational backbone of employee experience, including RSVPs, dietary needs, contracts, invoices, and budget tracking.
- Establish feedback loops through surveys and focus groups to assess program effectiveness and inform future initiatives.
- Propose new ideas and A/B test approaches to enhance the employee experience.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on event experience, preferably in corporate events, workplace teams, event production, law firms, or hospitality.
- Proven ability to manage event logistics repeatedly and effectively.
- High tolerance for ambiguity and a strong bias toward action in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple events, contracts, and logistics simultaneously.
- A genuine enjoyment of operational tasks and a desire to execute logistics directly.
- Comfort communicating across different time zones and cultures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a service-first mindset.
- Experience owning or managing a program budget (nice to have).
- Prior experience at a high-growth startup or tech company (nice to have).
