About the job

Harvey is transforming how legal and professional services operate by combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise. This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point, with strong product-market fit and world-class investor support. The team moves fast, takes ownership, and is deeply committed to the mission, operating with intensity and pushing for excellence. As a Business Operations Associate, you will have a broad mandate and play a critical role in driving Harvey’s growth, with direct exposure to the strategic questions shaping a category-defining AI company. Your scope will include driving high-impact initiatives and shaping strategic decision-making, reporting to the Chief Business Officer and collaborating closely with senior company leaders and cross-functional teammates.

Responsibilities

  • Turn company strategy into execution by identifying and prioritizing initiatives for growth.
  • Champion value engineering across the customer lifecycle to help customers articulate, quantify, and realize business impact.
  • Own high-impact, cross-functional initiatives from inception to completion, such as accelerating growth in specific segments or driving customer adoption programs.
  • Influence decision-making by generating insights through research and analysis, writing proposals, and driving alignment.
  • Incubate new sub-functions and business processes as needed.
  • Upgrade business intelligence and manage the rhythm of the business, including KPIs, dashboards, and cadences.

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of relevant work experience in strategy & execution roles (e.g., business operations, strategy & operations, management consulting, product management, entrepreneurship, investing/investment banking).
  • Excitement to partner with account teams and customers directly.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to deliver high-quality strategic & analytical work.
  • Track record of results and capacity to build & execute, including rolling up sleeves, driving outcomes, shaping emerging functions, and tolerating ambiguity.
  • Strong communication (written & verbal), collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Low ego and high sense of ownership.
  • Proficiency in or willingness to learn SQL.
  • Experience in a high-growth or technology environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with professional services (legal, tax, or finance) is a plus.
