Glean is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Platform Infrastructure team, focusing on customer setup and deployment in complex cloud, hosting, and security environments. You will build systems that bootstrap cloud accounts and projects, manage authentication, and transform deployment workflows into reliable, repeatable productized experiences for customers. This role is ideal for an engineer passionate about cloud infrastructure, networking, infrastructure as code, and solving real-world deployment challenges with elegant software abstractions.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve systems for automating customer setup and deployment across cloud environments.
- Develop deployment workflows and infrastructure as code templates that mirror customer environments and reduce manual setup.
- Enhance support for complex deployment scenarios like BYO-VPC, customer-managed keys, airgapped environments, and custom-region deployments.
- Work on cloud account and project bootstrapping, authentication, proxy and private networking, and deployment orchestration.
- Collaborate with Platform, Security, Product, and customer-facing teams to streamline deployments.
- Improve the quality, reliability, and coverage of AWS and GCP deployment tooling.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in platform, infrastructure, or cloud-focused roles.
