Fieldguide is building a new state of trust for global commerce and capital markets by automating and streamlining the work of assurance and audit practitioners. The Foundation Agents team is responsible for the long-horizon agents that power the Fieldguide AI platform, working at the frontier of AI product development. This role involves focusing on agent knowledge, evaluations, and improving quality and reliability at scale for agents that perform real-world work.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain agent knowledge and evaluation infrastructure for long-horizon agents.
- Develop the next generation of agents to solve complex customer use cases.
- Perform error analysis on agent behavior and implement quality improvements.
- Build backend systems for agent execution, evaluation, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on the platform's reliability and quality roadmap.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building AI products (beyond just calling LLM APIs).
- Working knowledge of evals and error analysis.
- Backend engineering experience with a focus on reliable systems.
- Motivation for developing long-horizon agents that perform real work in production.
- Platform engineering skills (nice-to-have).
- Frontend experience (nice-to-have).
- Distributed systems experience (nice-to-have).
