Decagon is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Agent Product Engineering team. This role involves building and shipping best-in-class AI agents that redefine customer experiences across various channels. You will have end-to-end ownership, working directly with industry leaders to solve complex customer needs with reliable and intuitive AI agents. Responsibilities
- Design and build AI agents to manage complex customer interactions and improve customer retention.
- Identify cross-customer trends to inform the evolution of the agent building platform and research.
- Experiment with, evaluate, and integrate the latest text and voice models at scale for enterprise customers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency with Python, Typescript, and asynchronous programming.
- Comfortable diagnosing system failures within deep technology stacks using various tools.
