Decagon is seeking a Senior Technical Sourcer to play a crucial role in identifying and attracting top engineering talent as the company scales its technical organization. This role involves close collaboration with recruiters, engineering leaders, and hiring managers to develop robust talent pipelines across the engineering department. The successful candidate will have substantial autonomy in market mapping, talent identification and engagement, and elevating the caliber of engineers hired at Decagon.
Responsibilities
- Partner with recruiters, engineering leaders, and hiring managers to build talent pipelines.
- Map the market, identify, and engage with potential talent.
- Raise the bar for engineering hires.
- Identify and attract exceptional engineering talent.
- Build high-quality pipelines and meet ambitious hiring goals.
- Find hard-to-reach talent and craft compelling outreach.
- Source specialized talent in areas like AI/ML, infrastructure, or distributed systems.
- Use data and market knowledge to improve sourcing effectiveness.
Requirements
- 4+ years of technical sourcing experience, preferably at a high-growth or talent-dense technology company.
- Strong track record of identifying and engaging exceptional software engineers.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build strong partnerships with recruiters and hiring managers.
- Experience sourcing at an AI company, high-growth startup, or talent-dense organization.
- High level of ownership, urgency, and creativity.
