About the job
Decagon is seeking a Senior Agent Product Manager, Healthcare to lead the delivery, adoption, and expansion of AI solutions for healthcare clients across Payer, Provider, Pharmacy, Labs, and Life Sciences. This role involves being the primary technical and strategic owner on client accounts, building trust with leadership, scoping solutions, and developing AI agents. You will be instrumental in shaping Decagon's healthcare strategy and roadmap, working closely with product and go-to-market leadership. This is a senior individual contributor position for someone who thrives on executive influence, product building instincts, and end-to-end ownership of high-stakes outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own the AI transformation and technical deployment for Decagon's largest healthcare opportunities.
- Partner with Sales, Solutions Engineers, and Agent Deployment Engineers to build working agents for healthcare clients.
- Serve as the executive partner to C-suite leaders, defining and driving their AI transformation roadmap.
- Own the client relationship from initial conversation through production and expansion.
- Design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade agents for high-volume healthcare workflows.
- Manage the trust posture on accounts, including PHI handling, consent, escalations, and compliance evidence.
- Develop reusable healthcare frameworks and playbooks that scale across accounts and inform the product roadmap.
- Direct Agent Deployment Engineers and partner teams to achieve scaled delivery.
- Run feedback loops into Product and Engineering to shape the healthcare product based on deployment learnings.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience owning ambiguous, high-stakes outcomes and earning the trust of senior executives.
- At least 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
- Experience in roles such as engagement managers, project leaders, senior managers from top consulting firms, product managers, founders, or forward-deployed/solutions roles at high-growth tech companies serving healthcare.
- Deep understanding of healthcare operations, including health plan/system organization, member/patient friction points, and connections between care, claims, and contact center operations.
- Ability to hold substantive conversations with both clinical leaders and CIOs.
- A builder's instinct to design and build solutions, not just diagnose problems or manage others.
- Strong technical aptitude.
