Decagon is seeking a Head of Workplace to lead its global workplace strategy and operations, ensuring physical environments scale with company growth. This senior leadership role involves overseeing real estate and expansion projects, managing a team of office leaders, and building systems for seamless office operations. The position requires a blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution, partnering with People, Finance, IT, and the executive team to create world-class spaces that foster collaboration, drive productivity, and embody Decagon's culture of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the Workplace team, setting vision and scalable processes for global office operations.
- Drive real estate strategy, including lease negotiation, vendor management, and overseeing build-outs and office openings.
- Manage workplace budgets and optimize spend for efficiency.
- Ensure operational excellence in offices, maintaining high standards for safety, compliance, and employee experience.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to plan for growth and deliver enabling spaces.
- Build programs and policies for a consistent, high-quality workplace experience across all locations.
Requirements
- 6-8+ years of experience in workplace, real estate, or operations, preferably in high-growth startups or tech.
- Proven track record leading multi-site expansions and office build-outs.
- Skilled in vendor management, project execution, and global workplace operations.
- Strong people leadership abilities, including building, inspiring, and scaling a team.
- Ability to move fluidly between strategic planning and tactical execution.
- Experience working across geographies in the US and Europe.
