Responsibilities
- Design and build foundational GTM data infrastructure in BigQuery, including ingesting, organizing, and modeling data from systems like Salesforce, Gong, and Outreach.
- Write and maintain data models to transform raw CRM and GTM tool data into clean tables for pipeline, forecasting, segmentation, compensation, and territory reporting.
- Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional partners to translate reporting requests into durable, well-documented data models.
- Build and maintain data pipelines to ensure GTM data remains fresh, accurate, and consistent with new tool and data source additions.
- Own data quality end-to-end by establishing testing, validation, and monitoring processes.
- Set technical standards and best practices for GTM data modeling as the function scales.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in data/analytics engineering with hands-on ownership of ETL/ELT pipelines and dbt in a production environment.
- Strong SQL skills and direct experience building and maintaining data warehouses in BigQuery or a comparable cloud warehouse.
- Experience working with GTM data, including Salesforce, and familiarity with sales engagement platforms like Gong or Outreach in a high-growth B2B company.
- Strong understanding of core SaaS and GTM metrics and how they are derived from underlying GTM tool data.
- Proficiency in transforming messy source data into clean, well-organized, documented tables for downstream reporting and dashboarding.
- Experience creating outputs in BI tools (Hex preferred) for dashboarding and self-serve analytics.
- A builder mindset, excited to construct foundational infrastructure from scratch.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills, capable of understanding and translating needs from sales leadership.
