Decagon is seeking a Growth Engineer to lead the technical aspects that drive company growth, focusing on the website and specialized technical growth products. This role involves owning the strategy, prioritization, and roadmap for the website, treating it as a product. You will build innovative tools, including AI-powered demo experiences and interactive assets, to enhance pipeline growth. Additionally, you will develop internal tooling to automate marketing tasks and create agents that leverage Decagon's AI stack to identify sales intent signals. This position requires a blend of hands-on building and strategic planning, with the opportunity to grow and mentor a team.
Responsibilities
- Own the website as a product, including strategy, prioritization, and roadmap.
- Build technical growth products beyond the website, leveraging Decagon's AI stack.
- Drive conversion rate optimization by establishing testing infrastructure and cadence.
- Grow the team by hiring and mentoring specialists in website execution and SEO/AEO.
- Partner cross-functionally with growth, product engineering, and sales leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with growth/marketing exposure.
- Proven track record of shipping technical products.
- Experience owning a company's website or a comparable technical growth surface as a product.
- Comfortable operating across the full stack of technical growth, including CMS architecture and product-style builds.
- Experience building and shipping growth-oriented products or tools.
- Strong technical judgment to evaluate and manage specialists.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt to evolving team structures.
