Decagon is seeking a Governance, Risk, and Compliance Manager to play a critical role in securing customer trust as the company scales to serve Fortune 500 and international enterprises. This high-impact role involves managing the day-to-day execution of the compliance program and customer security engagements. You will directly contribute to closing enterprise deals by efficiently managing security communications with customers, supporting compliance audits, and improving security documentation. This position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a high-impact organization, possesses strong attention to detail and excellent writing skills, and is eager to build expertise in enterprise AI compliance.
Responsibilities
- Own the FedRAMP compliance process, including experience with both 20x and traditional Rev 5 approaches.
- Partner with the Public Sector sales team to align authorization paths and timelines with agency sales targets.
- Define and establish the authorization boundary, 3PAO selection and management, SSP and control narratives, NIST 800-53 baselines, POA&M, and continuous monitoring.
- Automate continuous monitoring to be machine-readable evidence rather than a manual documentation exercise.
- Manage StateRAMP and TX-RAMP alongside the federal compliance track.
Requirements
- 5+ years of GRC experience in high-growth SaaS or technology companies with direct responsibility for FedRAMP compliance programs.
- Proven track record contributing to SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar enterprise compliance certifications.
- Experience with data privacy regulations including CCPA, GDPR, and emerging AI governance frameworks.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate complex security concepts for diverse audiences.
- Working knowledge of technical security controls and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
