Decagon is seeking a Business Systems Manager to join their AI Transformation team. This role is hands-on, focusing on the implementation, deployment, and maintenance of the company's ERP system and broader systems landscape, including Ramp, Navan, TeamOhana, and Aleph. The manager will drive the full SDLC for these systems, partnering closely with business stakeholders to transform the systems landscape for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous environments, iterates quickly, and possesses a strong desire to improve business systems.
Responsibilities
- Own and scale the company’s business systems ecosystem, including ERP, Ramp, Navan, TeamOhana, Aleph, Variabl, and other critical platforms.
- Oversee systems strategy, architecture, configuration, integrations, access governance, data integrity, optimization, and ongoing administration.
- Design and maintain end-to-end processes across the financial and operational lifecycle, integrating upstream tools with the ERP.
- Identify operational bottlenecks in Finance, Accounting, People, and Legal, and deploy automated or AI-powered solutions.
- Lead the rollout of new tools, features, and system upgrades, including training and user acceptance testing.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, People, Legal, and Engineering to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions and communicate impact.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience administering business systems (ERP, HRIS, spend, travel platforms).
- Hands-on experience with AI-native tools (e.g., Claude, Claude Code, Cursor) to automate workflows.
- Deep expertise in end-to-end finance/accounting workflows (AP, AR, GL, month-end close, consolidations).
- Comfort navigating build vs. buy decisions for system solutions.
- Ability to align system architecture and business priorities through strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven ability to independently drive complex projects under ambiguity and deliver results.
