Decagon is seeking a BizOps & Strategy professional to lead commercial and pricing strategy within the Founder's Office. This team focuses on high-leverage initiatives including partnerships, business development, pricing strategy, AI transformation, and data analytics. The primary goal of this role is to accelerate and streamline the enterprise go-to-market motion by working closely with the GTM team to close deals. This involves developing pricing and packaging strategies, building internal deal and pricing processes, and contributing to proposal creation and negotiation for enterprise customers. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking and execution, attracting highly motivated problem solvers with strong analytical rigor and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end deal structuring for enterprise opportunities, partnering with account executives and sales leaders to build proposals and drive deals to close.
- Develop and refine Decagon's pricing and packaging strategy.
- Build and scale internal commercial processes as the company expands.
- Collect and analyze pricing and deal data to shape high-level company strategy.
- Act as a thought leader in pricing agentic AI solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, investing, or high-velocity startups.
- Deep curiosity and desire to solve hard problems.
- Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where you shape solutions as much as you implement them.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator, with experience working regularly with finance and legal teams.
- Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience building or scaling a deal desk function at a high-growth or early-stage company (preferred).
- Previous leadership in implementing a CPQ platform (preferred).
- Familiarity with consumption-based or usage-based pricing models in addition to traditional SaaS subscription structures (preferred).
- SQL or other data analytics experience (preferred).
