About the job
Decagon is seeking an Agent Education Manager to serve as an expert advisor for both external and internal stakeholders. Internally, you will advise delivery teams on the most effective enablement programs to drive customer success. This role is a high-ownership, technical, and strategic position that will define best practices for AI-native company customer training and partner enablement. You will be responsible for educating stakeholders on these best practices and measuring their impact, potentially including AI prompting techniques, agent management processes, and developing the judgment to define "good" agent building.
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of strategic accounts and partners, serving as their product expert and enablement lead.
- Lead hands-on agent building workshops, including designing and delivering training for high-priority accounts.
- Build Decagon University by creating learning pathways, repeatable programs, and scaling strategies.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and PMM to ensure programs are current with product evolution and translate future capabilities for external stakeholders.
- Define and prove the impact of enablement through metrics like customer proficiency and platform adoption.
- Establish partner enablement programs and certifications from the ground up for agencies, SIs, and channel partners.
- Evolve the enablement function by identifying gaps, testing new formats, and managing associated tools and vendors.
Requirements
- 4-8 years in a customer-facing role (e.g., customer success, deployment strategy, solutions consulting, technical product marketing), preferably in B2B SaaS.
- Experience making complex, technical products accessible to diverse audiences.
- Strong customer presence with exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with multiple priorities.
- Collaborative mindset with a talent for cross-functional partnerships.
- Experience building or scaling enablement programs for partner, channel, or agency audiences.
- Hands-on delivery experience and understanding of partner operations.
- Familiarity with conversational AI, agent platforms, or technical deployment work.
- Consulting background (strategy, management, or implementation) with a focus on translating strategy into execution.
