About the job

Composio is building infrastructure for agent-tool communication, connecting to tools like Github, Gmail, and Salesforce. Having recently secured $25M in Series A funding, the company is experiencing significant growth. The Enterprise Product team focuses on transforming complex customer workflows into robust product features. In this role, you will collaborate directly with enterprise customers and Field Development Engineers (FDEs) to translate ambiguous requirements into core product primitives and ship code that streamlines future customer integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Transform large enterprise APIs into agent-usable tool surfaces, including defining tool granularity, composite tools, descriptions, scopes, authentication, and evaluations.
  • Productize recurring FDE tasks into self-service features such as patching, QA harnesses, deployment paths, admin controls, documentation, and guardrails.
  • Enable repeatable enterprise deployments across various environments including hosted, VPC, on-premise, regulated, and BYOK.
  • Develop the product layer to scale Composio from bespoke enterprise engagements to a standardized enterprise motion.
  • Own enterprise product surfaces throughout their lifecycle: discovery, specification, design, implementation, QA, release, adoption, and iteration.
  • Ship production code for toolkits, SDKs, authentication and scope flows, admin interfaces, deployment tooling, and customer-facing enterprise features.
  • Collaborate with FDEs, customers, and core engineering to translate field pain points into precise product requirements and delivered primitives.
  • Build evaluation and QA processes to ensure enterprise workflows are reliable and production-ready.
  • Author specifications, documentation, launch notes, and customer-facing updates to facilitate easy adoption.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to transform complex workflows into clean product features and ship production code.
  • Experience with enterprise integrations, including OAuth, consent management, scopes, service accounts, webhooks, rate limiting, and handling unusual API behaviors.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of a named customer or product surface from initial conversation through to live usage.
  • Experience building with or for language models, with informed opinions on agents, MCP, evaluations, and tool selection.
  • Strong systems judgment, considering rollout/rollback strategies, security exposure, version skew, and maintainability.
  • Excellent writing skills for creating trustworthy specifications, documentation, and customer updates under deadline pressure.
  • Proficiency in Python for production environments; TypeScript is a plus.
  • Background in API platforms, iPaaS, developer tools, infrastructure, or integration-heavy roles.
  • Prior experience in FDE, solutions architect, sales engineer, or enterprise product engineering roles.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, Temporal, Postgres, Replicated, cloud secret managers, or packaged self-hosted delivery.
  • Exposure to security and compliance concepts such as SOC 2, Vanta-style programs, questionnaires, CVE triage, or RCAs.
