Cloudflare is seeking a Deal Intelligence Analyst to join their Finance function and drive the transition to a data-centric and AI-augmented Deal Desk. This role is designed for a "full-stack" analyst who can build data pipelines and deliver actionable insights impacting margin preservation and global growth. You will leverage Cloudflare's Developer Platform and standard data warehousing tools to extract, integrate, and analyze CRM and CPQ data, ultimately enabling deal architects to close complex deals with greater velocity and precision.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain executive dashboards and self-serve reporting systems for real-time visibility into deal terms, discount thresholds, win/loss rates, and margin performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine ideas and goals into automatable queries.
- Partner with Finance, Infrastructure, and Deal Desk leadership to analyze pricing data and ensure quoting strategies align with margin preservation goals.
- Build and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines to extract and transform data from Salesforce, CPQ, and billing systems into usable semantic models.
- Assist in integrating structured deal data into Deal Desk tools to automate routine approvals and surface real-time pricing optimizations.
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable narratives for non-technical stakeholders to support data-driven negotiations.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a technical RevOps role, with a strong emphasis on full-stack data problem solving.
- Experience incorporating data into AI workflows, utilizing LLM orchestration frameworks, or building predictive models.
- Expert-level SQL and deep proficiency in modern data visualization and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Sigma, PowerBI).
- Strong programming skills in Python (or TypeScript) with hands-on experience building ELT/ETL pipelines, interacting with APIs, and cleaning raw data.
- Experience designing analytical data models for financial and SaaS business analysis (e.g., margins, discount rates, ARR, NRR).
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and an interest in edge computing/serverless architectures (Cloudflare Workers, R2, D1).
- Domain expertise in CRM data structures (especially Salesforce custom objects), CPQ complexities, and the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
- Exceptional communication skills to bridge technical data systems and strategic Finance operations.
