Responsibilities
- Set technical strategy for covered domains.
- Execute complex and ambiguous projects.
- Influence engineers through teaching, mentoring, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Serve as a role model for ownership, technical design, implementation, and company culture.
- Shape architecture, mentor engineers, and drive process improvements.
Requirements
- Demonstrated outsized impact in previous roles (e.g., creating leverage, building foundational systems, launching revenue-generating products).
- Experience working in startups and scale-ups, comfortable building for growing scale.
- Excellent product intuition and ability to think cross-functionally about end-user impact.
- Empathetic communicator, able to express nuanced ideas clearly to different audiences.
- Familiarity with the current tech stack or ability to learn new technologies quickly.
