Mistral AI is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to facilitate the adoption of its products among customers and collaborate with them to address complex technical challenges. This role is integral to the Applied AI Engineering team, driving the successful deployment of Mistral AI products by working hand-in-hand with customers from pre-sale to post-implementation. The engineer will integrate cutting-edge AI models into clients' software products and develop complex use cases, ensuring seamless integration with front-end and back-end interfaces. They will also collaborate with product and science teams to improve product and model capabilities based on customer feedback.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with researchers, AI engineers, and product engineers on complex customer projects, integrating AI models into clients' software.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications, ensuring seamless front-end and back-end integration.
- Develop complex use cases with customers, providing guidance for optimal production integration.
- Collaborate with product and science teams to improve product and model capabilities based on customer feedback.
Requirements
- Fluent in English.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years as a technical individual contributor on cutting-edge technologies.
- Strong technical coding skills in Python and TypeScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, NextJS, or VueJS.
- Experience with back-end technologies such as NodeJS.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply to technical and non-technical audiences.
