Join the engineering team that builds the AI-native apps, agents, and tools that power Amplitude's internal operations. This is an AI-first, full-stack software engineering role where you will leverage your expertise in frontier AI technologies to drive continuous improvements in both the systems you build and the way you build them. Your work will have a significant business impact across critical functions like Finance, People Ops, Product Ops, Legal, and HR, by designing and building internal applications, data products, automations, and integrations.
Responsibilities
- Design and build full-stack applications and tools to address high-leverage operational use cases across the business.
- Develop service connectors to enable AI and automation tools to interact with various business systems.
- Enhance existing tools and processes to boost team velocity, streamline the technical stack, and adopt new AI-native approaches.
- Manage end-to-end reconciliation processes for financial systems, from quote to revenue recognition, ensuring cross-system reporting and traceability.
- Take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle for the features you build.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience shipping and running production services.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Full-stack development experience covering frontend, backend, tools, and integrations.
- Enthusiasm for understanding new business problems, learning unfamiliar systems, and incrementally improving designs.
- Experience with data warehouses and SQL-based systems.
- Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions and software designs.
- Experience with frontier AI tooling, including harnesses, MCP servers, and agents.
- Demonstrated curiosity and ability to learn new domains quickly.
- A bias for action, with the ability to rapidly iterate from business problems to prototypes and solutions.
