About the job
As a Digital Core Architect Intern at Accenture, you will collaborate with experienced architects on client transformations. This role involves application modernization, cloud migration, and AI-enabled platforms, providing insight into how business priorities shape enterprise and solution architecture. You will support the assessment, design, and documentation of forward-thinking technology solutions, gaining hands-on experience in cloud, AI, and modernization programs across various industries.
Responsibilities
- Support application portfolio assessments and cloud readiness analyses to identify modernization opportunities.
- Assist in creating architecture diagrams, decision records, blueprints, and current/target-state documentation.
- Research cloud-native and hybrid architecture approaches, including APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.
- Explore how major cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS) can support platform renewal and digital core transformation.
- Help structure modernization roadmaps and prepare findings for client presentations and team discussions.
- Support AI and Agentic AI proof-of-concept activities, including LLM integration and AI-assisted engineering.
- Participate in workshops and architecture reviews, learning about spec-driven development and AI-augmented architecture practices.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in application, solution, or enterprise architecture and its role in business transformation.
- Possess basic familiarity with software, systems, or cloud concepts through academic studies or personal projects.
- Exhibit curiosity about cloud-native solutions, APIs, microservices, and integration architecture.
- Show interest in AI, Agentic AI, LLM integration, and AI-assisted or spec-driven engineering approaches.
- Be analytical and structured, with a willingness to investigate new technologies and ask insightful questions.
- Be collaborative, eager to learn from experienced architects, and capable of clearly explaining ideas.
- Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch is a strong asset.
