The Data & AI Technology team at Accenture empowers organizations to become data-driven and AI-first by designing, building, and operating modern data platforms and AI solutions. As an intern, you will join a collaborative, cross-functional team and gain hands-on experience through guided assignments, regular feedback, and collaboration with experienced colleagues. Our work encompasses data foundations, analytics, machine learning, and Generative AI, with a strong emphasis on Responsible AI principles.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and testing of data, machine learning, and AI solutions.
- Assist with data collection, preprocessing, cleaning, validation, and feature engineering.
- Help explore and document business use cases, user needs, and functional requirements.
- Support the creation, testing, and monitoring of machine learning pipelines, prototypes, or proof-of-concept solutions.
- Collaborate with technical and business colleagues and contribute to team discussions.
- Document experiments, findings, solution designs, and lessons learned.
- Assist with workflow automation and gain exposure to development practices like version control, CI/CD, and containerization.
- Help define or track indicators to assess the usefulness and impact of AI solutions.
- Research emerging Data & AI technologies and share insights with the team.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and feedback moments.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, engineering, business, or a related field.
- Eligible to complete an internship as part of an academic program and provide the required internship agreement.
- Basic knowledge of Python and an interest in data, analytics, machine learning, or Generative AI.
- Curiosity, a structured problem-solving approach, and attention to detail.
- Interest in connecting business needs with technical possibilities.
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, receive feedback, and share knowledge.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English and either French or Dutch.
