This role focuses on building and shipping production-ready software where AI is a core component of the engineering lifecycle. You will apply AI-native practices to develop and validate solutions, maintain quality and compliance, and continuously improve software development and operations. The position involves providing architectural direction and leadership, influencing vision with product managers and engineering teams, and solving complex problems. You will lead design sessions, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members to foster a learning culture and ensure successful project contributions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare technical design specifications.
- Drive architectural governance activities.
- Seek platform convergence.
- Plan engineering initiatives and new feature delivery, balancing customer needs with organizational health.
- Identify application improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Assist and mentor development staff in delivering product features.
- Foster a learning culture by providing direction and communication to teams.
- Assist teams with technical conversations to drive towards action and successful outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt processes for improvement.
- Provide feedback to peers and teams to instill a learning culture.
- Communicate clearly with executive leadership, peers, and development teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in .Net Full Stack Development.
- Significant experience in design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) and implementation or enhancement of new and current systems.
- Significant experience in system engineering involving analytical systems design and implementation.
- Fluency and specialization with modern languages such as Java, C# or Python.
- Experience in building products using microservices architectural patterns and extensible REST APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Proven experience in cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Ability to translate AI innovation into business and productivity impact.
- Fluency in DevOps Concepts.
- Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments.
- Understanding of security architecture, protocols, and products including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, OAuth.
- Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Azure, with a background in multi-cloud environments.
- Bachelor's OR Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 15 years full time education.
