Cloudflare's Engineering Team builds and runs the software that handles large amounts of requests on the Internet today, as well as the internal tools and platforms that run that software. The Engineering Platform and Productivity team is chartered to build a self-service, resilient, and scalable platform using a combination of Open Source projects, intellectual property, and internal infrastructure. This role includes building tools and services that help easily integrate a base set of capabilities into Cloudflare’s products, serving hundreds of fellow engineers and handling high volumes of requests daily. Additionally, this role has a focus on Agentic Engineering, building tools for engineers internally to leverage modern AI agents, models, and agentic practices, including MCP servers, agentic IDEs, autonomous agents, evals, and making AI-native improvements to our internal SDLC and solving context engineering at scale. The ideal candidate will care deeply about providing other engineers with an excellent development experience.
