Crusoe is seeking a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Linux Kernel Security to strengthen the security of their AI cloud infrastructure. This role involves implementing kernel security enhancements, triaging CVEs, securing the boot path, and establishing CI guardrails. You will research vulnerabilities, advocate for secure coding practices, and conduct security-focused code reviews. The position also includes utilizing and developing security auditing tools, supporting incident response, and balancing security with system performance. A key aspect is contributing to the security of Cloud Hypervisor and advancing confidential computing primitives. This role requires close collaboration with other engineering teams and providing technical leadership and mentorship.
