As a member of the power generation operations team, you will apply your knowledge, experience, and creativity to turn plant data into decisions. This role supports the site director with insights that improve how the power plant runs, including generation performance, fuel use, downstream demand, maintenance planning, and environmental compliance. If you like strategic planning, juggling many different priorities, improving processes, and spending your time in a dynamic work environment, then this team may be for you. This role will report directly to the site director and serve as a resource across plant operations.
Responsibilities
- Create and integrate AI tools to support analytics and execution planning, including AI agents for oversight and issue flagging.
- Develop visual standards for work boards, JIRA, Power BI dashboards, and plant operations workflow.
- Define and develop plant-level metrics and dashboards to quantify operational health and influence change.
- Support the site director with data insights for plant operations, outage planning, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct in-depth analyses using SQL and other data analysis methods to identify trends for decision-making.
- Create reports, tools, and standardized metrics for operational measurements and improvements.
