SpaceXAI is seeking a team-oriented Barista who is familiar with basic customer service and food/beverage safety principles. This role involves supporting customer orders, inquiries, and deliveries, as well as maintaining food service spaces. The Barista will contribute to the company's mission by providing quality customer service and a welcoming atmosphere, ultimately boosting morale and productivity. The ideal candidate is hands-on, curious, and thrives in a challenging environment with a flat organizational structure, valuing initiative and consistent excellence.
Responsibilities
- Set up, work, and maintain a clean and safe work station
- Complete daily prep tasks
- Help the team meet time and quality standards
- Clean and maintain departmental tools and equipment
- Provide good customer service
- Inventory and order supplies as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2+ years of customer service experience in a food service environment with coffee and beverage services
- Availability for 1st shift: Monday to Friday from 8AM to 6:30PM
- Ability to carry large heavy items up to 25 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours a day)
- Ability to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed
- Ability to perform frequent bending, stooping, and lifting
