Their platform allows companies to build and deploy AI agents grounded in their data and powered by enterprise-grade LLMs. This role is for a software engineer focused on generative AI, building the secure and scalable foundation for these solutions within complex corporate environments. The position is ideal for an engineering generalist with a strong focus on generative AI and a systems-level approach to architecture, offering the opportunity to own projects from proposal to deployment and shape the future of AI.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, secure, and scalable generative AI services and applications using Python and modern frameworks.
- Build and optimize high-performance, low-latency APIs and microservices for integrating AI models and agentic workflows.
- Make system design decisions and own the architecture of core platform components.
- Implement and maintain responsive user interfaces using technologies like React and TypeScript.
- Communicate changes, plans, and proposals to cross-functional teams and collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and DevOps engineers.
- Partner with DevOps teams to build continuous deployment, logging, and monitoring systems.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer with a strong emphasis on Python development in production environments.
- Proven expertise in building and deploying generative AI applications, leveraging LLMs, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector), and agentic frameworks.
- Practical experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid grasp of modern web technologies including FastAPI, Asyncio, PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience leveraging AI developer tooling (e.g., Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
- Exposure to enterprise architecture including IAM, SSO, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, RBAC, and security best practices.
- Experience building services for enterprise administration and billing systems.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to engage with cross-functional teams and mentor engineers.
- A proactive approach to tackling complex technical challenges and suggesting improvements.
- Accountability for delivering high-quality, resilient, and scalable code from conception to production.
