This role focuses on meeting the fast-paced, evolving learning needs within an AI-native environment. The position involves creating short, targeted, just-in-time learning modules and delivering live training, primarily through video-based instruction where the individual serves as the instructor.
Responsibilities
- Design and build focused, standalone courses (15-45 minutes) in sprints of three weeks or less, shipping approximately 15 courses per year.
- Own the full design lifecycle for each course at speed: needs analysis, design, build, QA, and publish.
- Deliver live and virtual training on built topics, adapting to audience needs and workflows.
- Repurpose content across different delivery modes to maximize reach.
- Proactively scan for emerging learning needs and field incoming requests from internal teams and customers.
- Balance proactive and reactive work, prioritizing speed and relevance.
- Partner with product, marketing, customer-facing teams, and SMEs to gather information and keep courses moving.
- Coordinate with end-to-end learning experience designers to ensure complementarity.
- Create video-based instructional content, serving as the voiceover or on-camera talent.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience designing and shipping courses at a fast pace.
- Proven ability to design effective learning experiences.
- Experience creating video-based instructional content, including serving as voiceover or on-camera talent.
- Ability to balance strategic proactivity with rapid reactive response.
- Comfortable shipping at speed in a dynamic environment.
