About the job
WRITER is a company where enterprises orchestrate AI-powered work, aiming to expand human capacity through superintelligence. They provide a platform for building and deploying AI agents grounded in company data and powered by enterprise-grade LLMs. Backed by significant investment and with offices in major cities, WRITER is a leader in enterprise generative AI, seeking fast-moving builders and scalers to join their mission. This role focuses on creating short, targeted, just-in-time learning experiences in an AI-native environment where products and workflows evolve rapidly. The ideal candidate will own a fast-paced learning design track, producing approximately 15+ courses per year, each 15-45 minutes long, built in sprints of three weeks or less. These courses address immediate needs like new workflows, role-specific skills, recently shipped tools, or urgent AI topics, complementing longer-term curriculum development.
Responsibilities
- Design and build focused, standalone courses (15-45 minutes) in sprints of three weeks or less, shipping ~15 courses per year on specific, targeted topics.
- Own the full design lifecycle (needs analysis, design, build, QA, publish) for each course at speed, making scope decisions for maximum learning value in a compact format.
- Deliver live and virtual training on built topics, adapting to audience questions, skill levels, and industry workflows.
- Repurpose content across delivery modes (on-demand to live, live to on-demand, micro to full) to maximize reach.
- Proactively scan for emerging learning needs by monitoring product changes, customer signals, and internal feedback.
- Field and triage incoming learning requests from across the company and from customers, responding quickly with targeted courses.
- Balance proactive and reactive work, making judgment calls on what to build, defer, or decline, and ship at a cadence that keeps pace with the product and business.
- Partner with product, product marketing, customer-facing teams, and SMEs to gather information quickly.
- Coordinate with end-to-end learning experience designers to avoid duplication and ensure rapid-response courses complement larger curricula.
- Flag topics that outgrow the rapid-response format and share insights to inform the team's longer-term roadmap.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience designing and shipping courses at a fast pace.
- Proven ability to design effective learning in compact formats (15-45 minutes).
- Comfort with rapid development cycles and short sprints.
- Thrive in fast-paced environments where topics may shift mid-sprint.
- Adaptability without losing momentum.
Benefits
- Compensation ranges scaled to experience, expertise, and scope.
