The Director, Solutions Architecture will lead a team of solutions architects, mentor them, and inspire them to solve complex business challenges with innovative AI solutions, directly influencing customer success and WRITER's growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of solutions architects, fostering their technical growth and career development in complex enterprise AI engagements.
- Drive the adoption and deployment of WRITER's generative AI platform by overseeing pre-sales technical engagements, including use case discovery, proof-of-concept execution, and value realization for strategic customers.
- Partner with sales and go-to-market teams to develop strategic account plans, define technical value propositions, and accelerate pipeline growth.
- Act as an executive technical sponsor for strategic accounts, building C-level relationships and advising on AI strategy and implementation.
- Influence the product roadmap by gathering market insights and customer feedback to ensure the platform meets evolving enterprise AI needs.
- Architect robust, scalable, and secure AI solutions for enterprise environments, integrating WRITER's platform with customer data ecosystems and technical stacks.
- Transform customer evaluation and proof-of-concept processes by implementing best practices and scalable methods to demonstrate ROI and accelerate time-to-value.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, with at least 4 years in management leading a pre-sales or solutions architecture team focused on enterprise software, cloud, or AI solutions.
- Proven expertise in leading and scaling a solutions architecture or sales engineering organization in a high-growth, fast-paced technology company.
- Deep technical proficiency in generative AI, large language models (LLMs), machine learning, and cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Hands-on experience in Python or similar scripting languages.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex implementations of AI/ML solutions, understanding data pipelines, model deployment, security, and compliance in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of translating technical concepts into business value for executive and technical audiences.
