About the job
Turing's mission is to accelerate superintelligence to drive real economic progress. The company works with frontier AI labs to generate high-quality datasets, reinforcement learning environments, and frontier research benchmarks. Turing also partners with Fortune 500 enterprises to build and deploy end-to-end agentic AI systems within mission-critical workflows. This role involves leading the Turing Enterprise AI Platform technical team, which is being built out for a late 2025 SDK release and a Q1 2027 tenant onboarding. The goal is to grow the team to eight to ten members and collaborate with the Chief AI Architect on client-facing architecture and evaluation.

- Ensure four Q4 engineers are hired or in offer stage within the first 90 days.
- Release the control plane as a no-fee trial to first tenants by Q1 2027.
- Ensure tenant onboarding is completed in under four weeks by Q1 2027.
- Deliver a model-agnostic, multi-tenant control plane with an agent builder, model gateway, evaluations, FinOps, observability, guardrails, RBAC, and connectors, deployable in client cloud and sovereign environments within the first year.
- Secure at least one client use case with a measured evaluation and a trained model beating frontier baselines within the first year.
- Conduct weekly roadmap reviews with the President and Chief AI Architect, utilizing engagement leads as the voice of the client.
Requirements
- Platform architecture experience for multi-tenant enterprise software and self-hosted deployment.
- Hands-on experience with LLM systems, including orchestration, evaluation, serving, and fine-tuning.
- Proven ability to hire quickly at a high bar and manage a team of eight to fifteen.
- Experience with enterprise security, identity, and hosting with regulated customers.
- 15+ years in software engineering, with at least 5 years leading platform or infrastructure teams that shipped multi-tenant enterprise software.
- Must have personally written production code in the last two years.
- Demonstrated success in taking a platform from an internal tool to an externally licensed product.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise security, identity, and hosting with regulated customers, including experience under a bank or regulator's security review.
