Turing's mission is to accelerate superintelligence to drive real economic progress. The Enterprise AI business unit operates with the speed and focus of a startup, building applied AI solutions for the workplace. As a Forward-Deployed AI Engineer (In Training), you will own outcomes end-to-end, from identifying customer problems and shaping architecture to building production systems and working directly with senior client leaders. You will build generative AI solutions that drive measurable business impact within large institutions. Your initial placement will be in Turing Akademia, an eight-week intensive development program focused on applied AI, production engineering, and client delivery skills, preparing you for live client projects.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to uncover high-value opportunities and define business outcomes for AI solutions.
- Architect and build production AI systems, including multi-agent workflows, orchestration, tool use, context engineering, memory, state, and RAG.
- Develop APIs, data pipelines, integrations, and distributed systems for reliable AI solutions at scale.
- Present work to stakeholders, manage expectations, explain technical decisions, and respond to feedback.
- Lead solutions from discovery through deployment and measurable impact, owning evaluation, observability, security, reliability, latency, scalability, and cost.
Requirements
- Strong production engineering experience, typically 5+ years as a software engineer or full-stack developer building production or near-production systems.
- Strong technical foundation in programming, APIs, and databases.
