About the job

The Developer Experience (DevX) team at Together AI is responsible for how developers learn and build on the platform, managing the documentation site, API reference, quickstarts, and cookbooks. They treat documentation as a product, with content living in Git and publishing through Mintlify, synchronized with the API via CI/CD automation. The team also focuses on making content accessible to AI coding agents, developing a house style guide for AI-assisted authoring and structured content.

As a Technical Writer Intern on DevX, you will write, test, and ship documentation used by thousands of developers. You will be paired with a mentor and own significant projects from scoping to launch, with real users and metrics. This is a hands-on, technical role where you will run the code you document, call APIs, and contribute to the documentation repository from your first week. Potential projects include building migration kits, making documentation agent-ready, generating CLI reference from source, and writing evaluation design tutorials.

Responsibilities

  • Write clear, accurate guides, tutorials, and reference content for Together AI's inference, fine-tuning, and GPU cluster products.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and researchers to understand and simplify new features.
  • Utilize and help improve AI tools for drafting, editorial review, and publishing.
  • Test all documented features by running code and report bugs in the product or documentation.
  • Participate in a docs-as-code workflow including Git, pull requests, code review, and publishing via Mintlify.
  • Contribute to release notes and changelog entries for new features.
  • Use analytics, search data, and developer feedback to prioritize improvements.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Computer Science, Technical Communication, or a related field, graduating December 2027 or later.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, capable of making complex technical ideas clear and approachable.
  • Working knowledge of at least one programming language (Python or TypeScript preferred).
  • Comfort with Git source control.
  • Curiosity about developer learning processes and the impact of AI on them.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation
  • Housing stipends
  • Other competitive benefits
