Tennr is seeking a high-agency Senior Backend Engineer to connect advanced ML research with practical product delivery. You will architect and develop agentic workflows designed to tackle complex healthcare processes, addressing infrastructure, workflow, and user experience challenges within the U.S. healthcare system. This role involves constructing data pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and scalable, production-ready agentic systems. You will be tasked with identifying and implementing the most suitable tools and models for each specific workflow, ensuring optimal technology utilization.
Responsibilities
- Ship full-stack AI systems from conception to deployment.
- Design robust systems for model deployment, evaluation, and monitoring that maintain reliability under increasing traffic.
- Rapidly iterate on experiments and data, moving from ideation to code within hours.
- Collaborate with ML engineers, backend engineers, and cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate models with data pipelines and products.
Requirements
- Proficiency in full-stack development, including a strong grasp of system design, backend engineering, and observability infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience in the complete lifecycle of building, testing, deploying, scaling, and monitoring LLM-centric software architectures.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align on interfaces, manage trade-offs, and drive cross-team execution.
